15. - What do you think would be the hardest thing for you to give up? Why would it be hard to lose? – Probably storytelling (or art in general). If someone came to me and said they’d give me a billion dollars but I could never write or even conceptualize a story again, I’d have to pass (easy to say obviously). It’s what gets me through the day and what drives me to put up with all the bullshit life throws at me. Story is such an important construct of humanity that I just can’t ever see myself not in love with it. Watching Minnesota Vikings football is an honorable mention because I’ve put in way too much misery to not ride this thing out lol.
21. - When was the last time you were nice to someone and did NOT expect anything in return for it? – I let a friend of mine borrow my camera and lenses for a random Steadicam workshop he ended up teaching while visiting me and some friends out in LA back in December. I know he’d help me out if I ever needed up but really I just wanted to help him further his Steadicam career b/c I know he’s sick of doing what he’s doing and wants to make some moves. As far as people I don’t know, I helped a woman reach some stuff on a high shelf at Target recently because she was like 5 foot flat but you gotta be a pretty shitty person to not do that so I wouldn’t really count that as something nice.
