2020 was the year of lockdown and during this period i’ve been thinking a lot about women’s conditions.

I’ve grown up as a person and now I finally understand how and how much women are opressed.

There are some oppressions that are so intrisic in this sociaty that they sound normal but they are not.

We still have to fight a lot for us and for all women who can’t speak up for themselves.

Riot. Revolution. This is the answer.

Don’t let men shut you up, instesd raise your voice.

In time of oppression we need to support eachother.

Take this day as a possibility to stand up for yourselves and other women, a possibility to speak up.

Liberation of women from oppression of the patriarchy.

This is not a day to celebrate, but a day to rembere what we got and what we haven’t got yet. If we still use the word “bitch” to describe a woman who hasn’t a good behaviour, if sex-workers are still mistreated, if we still can’t go out at night and wear whatever we want, if someone still catcalls us, if rape isn’t a crime yet in some country, if we still are less paid than men. Because of all this discriminations and others, we can’t celebrate woman’s rights, because we haven’t the same rights as men. This is not equity. Until we won’t be equal to men, we will fight.

What can we do today? Today we can remember all women who died for us, who belived in a future where men and men would have the same right.

And I belived in that future as well.
