#tbt Here’s a history lesson for ya @trpmstr (@djkrillz & I) were the 1st EDM Trap producers to work with a Platinum MC. We had the honor of producing track # 2 “Polo & Fresh Js” for @8ightball’s Premro 2. The tape dropped on January 25th 2013. Months later that became the 🌊 I remember arguing with Krillz before it came out because I wanted the track to say featuring TRPMSTR rather than just produced by TRPMSTR in the credits. As more hip hop/ EDM collaborations followed, listing the Producer as a featured artist became the norm. If I remember correctly “Wild For The Night” came out a few months later in March of 2013 and listed Skrillex & Birdy Nam Nam as featured artists even though it was just A$AP Rocky rhyming over their beat.
