Okay so I used to be into KHR, and that fandom gave me a real taste for “your future boyfriend has SWITCHED PLACES WITH YOUR PRESENT ONE” (”time to make out with your aged-up devestatingly-hot boyfriend”)  So……so.

Chuck’s hairis too long.  Weirdly enough, with everything else that’s wrong with this picture, that’s the first thing Mike notices when the lights flick on.  Long enough he’s got itpulled back, tied up and tucked behind his ears. It’s messy enough there are still bangs hanging over his face, but Mikecan see his eyes, wide and blue and startled.  His nose looks just alittle bit crooked, like it’s been broken.

They stare ateach other for a couple of frozen seconds.  It’s Mike’s face, it’sdefinitely his, but it’s less soft than it’s supposed to be, cut in sharpplanes with a fine shadow of stubble across the hollow of his cheekbones. His bare chest has a jagged scar on it, from his left collarbone down tohis hipbone, and that one’s the biggest and the scariest but…the other scarslook right.  All of the ones he’s seen(touched), they’re all there, just…faded. Faint and…old.

So......

if you don’t hear much from me in two day’s time or so, that would mean either I’m focusing on other blogs, I’m taking ‘day off’ from Tumblr (because apparently I find out that my own well being is actually more important than Tumblr, color me surprise!) and/or I purchased three dating sim(.....ish) games, one of which is... well... D/ream D/addy.

I can’t believe myself.

     -”I know! Can you believe, after all, they’ve been through, that Nick just decided to leave her and Florence, after being in prison for two years!? I am so mad! What kind of man is he!? He is leaving Fanny alone to raise their child!”

Maddy barked while making wild gestures towards the TV. Her eyes were wide and angry to look at, her brows nearly merged together over how frustrated she was with Nick. With an angry huff, she fell back into the softness of the sofa, crossed her arms and moped.

Well, this was a fine pickle to be in! How she had gotten here was a bit of a blur and trying to think back on what transpired up to it triggered a headache. The last thing she remembered she had been going about her business, working as she usually did, stocked items, did a patient checkup, chased Ludwig’s damn birds out of her office (yet again), and did paperwork. Nothing, absolutely nothing, had given any hints of that a thing like this was going to happen to her. Suddenly it had all just gone black and then she woke up here!

She was tried to a chair, and tightly. Whoever it was had made sure that she would not be able to wiggle out in any way. The room was empty, and there was only a single light that seemed like it was on the last minutes of its life. The flickering was disturbing her eyes and the fact that the room, for now, was empty made her wonder what was going to happen. Who had done this? Was it a spy? An opposing medic? Who knew. There were some bastards out there who probably found joy in tormenting their enemies outside of matches. Whoever had done this was going to have to break her before she would go down, and she would not let herself be broken that easily.Maddy tested the tightness of the bindings, pulling and struggling against them to see just how much wiggle-room she might have, but the results were very much against her.
