Such a huge moment for me to get a “shooting star” award in Student Achievement. It’s a huge passion of mine to take on my role as a leader. I was born to do this heh. I’m going to miss this class so much.Â

LXXI: hahaha
Well, it’s 2014. I’m actually very excited for this new year. Stoked mainly because I’ll be turning my favorite number this year, super silly but I think that’s what’s going to make me super happy. I have high hopes for this year, I know that all I have to do is pull myself together and I can seriously accomplish everything and anything I want. I know it all sounds super corny but really, I can’t wait for what 2014 has to show me. I don’t know, I was contemplating whether or not I should do a recap post of 2013 but reminiscing about some events that happened will probably be a little too much for me. I do have to say though, that 2013 holds so much of my fuck ups. It’s kinda comical to think about, nevertheless I messed up big time, so many times. I feel like I learned so much in 2013 though, and most of all I actually pushed past my pride and immaturity and actually applied lessons I learned about life in my real life. I’ve done so many spontaneous things, I don’t know it’s kind of weird. 2013 was a weird year. It’s easy to explain, there’s just so many things to say. What I truly learned is to be alone, to embrace it and to be capable of doing things and going through obstacles alone without complaining. It’s difficult but it passes. At the same time, I’ve kind of accepted the fact that at times I truly need assistance and when I truly need it that I should ask for it and accept it. I don’t want to say that I feel grown or whatever but I honestly just.. I don’t know. Nothing is a big deal in life. Something may happen and the only reason why I might feel like it’s a big deal is because I put so much attention on it which intensifies negative (or positive) feelings. Nothing is a big deal and everything passes. Life moves along and all I have to do is coast along with it. Overall, 2013 was one hell of a ride and I can’t wait for 2014’s pages to unfold.
