Sorry, I totally passed out last night. Haha!

I’d love to do Steven Universe! I fell so hard for this show, I can’t even tell you. I had no idea I would love it so much. 1) The character I love the most (platonically, romantically, in general.)

That’s so hard. I genuinely love all of them so much. But I guess I’d have to go with Steven? He sung “Giant Woman,” and it was just all over from there. He’s adorable and amazing, and so passionate about everything, and so excited about people. He’s just so pure. 

2) The character I hate the most.

I don’t really hate any of them either! Argh, complicated. Okay, so the one I like least is Lars. I mean, I don’t HATE him, but I guess I’m not as interested in him as I am the others.

3) The character I relate to the most

Pearl, maybe? All the anxiety. Descending into pettiness when I’m scared. Getting way too wrapped up in something. 

4) The character I want to protect the most.

Greg needs so much protecting.

5) The character I wish got more attention.

Right now? Connie. She’s been missing a while.

6) The characters I ship the most.

Ruby and Sapphire are the most amazing.

i completely agree with the shipping wars! It shouldnt be so hard for someone to state their opinion without others foaming at the mouth about it. Also i really like your view on Ginny, shes awesome!

She’s so underrated, isn’t she?!

But yes, the shipping wars were why I completely abandoned the HP fandom back in the day and now sit happily in this little corner of the Internet staying well out of the way of any drama. I am not sure why people think everyone’s opinion should match theirs. I find all the different perspectives fascinating. Like I’m not into Kuwabara/Yukina, but apparently you are, and I think that’s great, and I would probably read anything you wrote about them with great enthusiasm. But if I just absolutely hated the ship, it wouldn’t be so hard for me to just... not read it. And... not send you rude messages. And... go on being pleasant to you, because you’re cool and your ship shouldn’t dictate whether or not we get along.

Ahhh, Harry Potter, the fandom I grew up on... my memory’s a bit dusty, so forgive any inaccuracies.

1) The character I love the most (platonically, romantically, in general.)

Ginny. I really loved her arc and how believably her growth was depicted. She’s just this silly little girl in love with her brother’s best friend at first. The stuff that happens to her in Chamber of Secrets! That book is definitely where I developed an intense affection for her character. Then she grows up, becomes this strong, independent, sensible person with a healthy bit of childish mischievousness. I love it.

2) The character I hate the most.

Peter Pettrigrew was just the worst, wasn’t he? Like, just no redeemable qualities at all.

3) The character I relate to the most

Hermione. But book Hermione. The one with the flaws. The movies kind of ruined her character a bit for me. I related a lot to needing those people around me who could push me out of my comfort zone, remind me to look beyond my logic and be okay with doing things just because it feels right. 

4) The character I want to protect the most. 

God, they were all kids, they all needed protecting. Cedric, I guess. His death in Goblet of Fire was one of the most shocking moments of the series for me. It really changed the entire tone of the narrative, made it much darker. Hogwarts lost its innocence after that. And I mean, the story needed it; I see why it was done, narrative-wise. But I’ll never forget that gut visceral reaction to reading about it and wanting to erase it all.

5) The character I wish got more attention. 

A lot of the Gryffindor gang not in the main group needed more attention, like Parvati, Seamus, and Dean Thomas.

6) The characters I ship the most. 

Oh, gosh. I shipped Harry/Ginny back in my younger days, but I honestly am not super invested in any of the ships. I think the ship wars were too much for me, lol.

7) The characters I ship the least.

nothing else sadly. i havent had much time to pick back up with the fic but hopefully soon!
