7TV2-WHO!
So Kieron and I had a crack at 7TV2 last night, with a Doctor Who flavour. Just a small cast each of 30 ratings, but forward test game its fair to say we really enjoyed it! I won't spoil anything, as I'm sure from numerous photos there's a battle report inbound on Kieron's blog (I'll link it when it happens), but we both found the game incredibly simple to just pick up and dive in. The activation system is great, and leaves room for some quite intense action sequences with a bit of planning, although there's a lot hanging on your cast choices for this too. When combined with the wacky gadgets (jetpacks, laser guided shots, bulletproof umbrellas etc) and the ever present threat of the Countdown Deck (nothing to do with Whiteley or Vorders :/ ), there is a ton of fun to be had. Bring on the next quarry themed episode!
