#7405 Badlands x Third Moon Bad Moon Rising (2023) (Canada) The Badlands side of the annual BL x TM DIPA collab is just as glorious. Coming in at 8.2%, it rocks Mega Motueka (the same blend in the TM version that’s rammed with Phantasm and high thiol Motueka), it pours super murky with a huge fluffy head and a dank, gooseberry nose, the body is creamy and chalky with apricot and other stone fruit vibes, it’s stupid dank with balanced sweetness and some piney notes, citrusy and smooth with a dry, sticky finish. Impeccable. (at Hamilton, Ontario) https://www.instagram.com/p/Cp9fNscMMzV/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
#7405 Badlands x Third Moon x Blood Brothers The Master Blend (Canada) I’m a little late with this one, but I also know that triple IPAs last a fair while longer than any other style so it’s typically an educated risk. Brewed for Badlands’ recent fifth anniversary with Third Moon and Blood Brothers, this is a triple IPA that rocks hops from their joint Yakima trips - Citra, Mosaic and Simcoe. Coming in at 10%, it pours murky with a foamy head and a citrusy nose, it’s big and bold, hella smooth with some chalky vibes, I’m getting melon and orange, sweet and balanced, a bit of booze warmth, wrapping in a tropical, sticky finish. Bomb. (at Hamilton, Ontario) https://www.instagram.com/p/Cjmm4jZAT0L/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
