#7363 Swiftwater Alpaca Kisses (USA) I was stoked to visit Swiftwater in Rochester last weekend, and they sent me off with this beaut of an American IPA. Coming in at 6.6%, it pours hazy with a huge meringue head and a citrusy nose, it rocks Sultana, Centennial and Tanatiuh (a new hop to me!), it’s bitter and piney with juicy mango and papaya vibes, super smooth and crushable, pithy mandarin and grapefruit notes, wrapping in a super dusty, tropical finish. #7363 Third Moon Observation (Nelson Sauvin & Hallertau Blanc) (Canada) I’ve said this a million times but TM’s Pale Ales are just impeccable, and this is no exception. Coming in at 5.2%, this is a Pale with hella oats and hopped with Nelson and Hallertau Blanc, it’s hazy with a fluffy head and a juicy grape nose, it’s creamy and silky, tons of flavour with white grape and Sauv Blanc up front, it’s sticky and sweet yet balanced and very crushable, the body is just delectable, wrapping in a dry, herbal, winey finish.
