#7301 Third Moon Each Beast A God Light Roast (Morning Roast | Colombia Washed Anaerobic Geisha) (Canada) Each Beast A God is TM’s amazing coffee stout series, and they recently put together a super interesting concept with Morning Roast. They did two beers, both with the same base but one had lightly roasted beans and one had dark roasted beans, and I’m starting with the light (obvi). Coming in at 8.5%, it pours jet black with an espresso head and chocolate and berries on the nose (something I’ve never smelled before on a coffee stout), it’s thick and creamy with bitter dark and tons of fruity berry vibes, it’s dusty with a great balanced coffee element, it’s sticky and very crushable, it drinks much less than the ABV, wrapping in a fruity, roasty finish.
