Considering that I had to see the discourse comparing shitting to sex on an emotional level i have not a single doubt that its real lol

I am like super fascinated by how we got to this point in online communities. Not even just like the escalating claims about how media is bad but this point where a lot of impressionable kids and young adults exposed to too much discourse keep acting like everyone else on earth is responsible for managing their expectations and emotional state to the point that they think that an emotional response to a evocative scene in a movie means that someone else is to blame? For making them feel an emotion?
