#6644 Brasserie du Bas-Canada Première Batch (Canada) Shouts to Fred for this one! This is an ode to the first ever batch of beer they brewed out of their Gatineau, QC facility, complete with the minimalist label. Coming in at 8%, this double IPA rocks Citra, Mosaic, Amarillo and Simcoe hops, it pours hazy af with a foamy head and a bright tropical nose, the body is creamy and chalky, tons of pineapple, mango and guava, there’s some subtle piney bitterness in the back end, a touch of citrus pith vibes, it’s a little sweet with some slight hop burn, wrapping in a dry, clean finish.
