The MOB Assassin Pirus (662) were a short-lived Compton-lineage Piru faction that once operated around West Seven Mile and Fenton, near the Beyond the Gates Apartments on Detroit’s west side. Their identity tied back to the E/S MOB Pirus network, adapting L.A. symbols into local graffiti and alliance structures.
At their peak, the 662 aligned with the Black P. Stone Nation (BPSN) and opposed Brightmoor Gangster Crips (BGC), marking walls with red “662” tags and Piru call signs. Their graffiti claimed a small but distinct sector just west of the Five Points zone.
By 2019, the set had largely disappeared. No verified MOB tags or related incidents have surfaced since then. In the years that followed, the area experienced a complete symbolic takeover by 5Point Nation (5PN)—mainly its ScoreGang (SCRG) and BigJumpshotGang (BJSG) divisions. From 2022 to 2024, 5PN graffiti campaigns systematically covered old MOB markings with their own cipher codes, establishing visual dominance without reported violence.
Today, the MOB Assassin Pirus are considered defunct in Detroit, their name surviving only in older tag photos and oral accounts. The Beyond the Gates Apartments area is now recognized as part of 5PN-controlled territory, with no active Piru presence. Some unconfirmed reports suggest a handful of former members relocated to Pontiac, Michigan after the decline.
