Gym Session || Bucky and Skye
“Do I know you?”
These days, that’s his version of hello. It’s not the most socially graceful way to introduce yourself, but when you’re consciously aware of the fact that everything you know could be a lie there isn’t exactly room for gracefulness.
Hell, for all he knows he could actually be a stubborn jackass who has no time for anyone.
This time when he asks the question, he’s in the gym, and just like always there is that awkward silence between him answering the question, and the other person answering it. This time it’s a young SHIELD agent he’s asking, which he knows means that there is a chance that he tried to kill her in the past.
He tries to act like that thought doesn’t bother him, and goes back to the punching bag he’d previously been engaged with. Recently, he’s been letting emotions get to him and it’s been affecting his form. He’d been hoping to spend the night fixing that, but even after a couple of hours his shoulders are just as tense and his punches aren’t being thrown with the same restraint that he’s use too.
