Eek, we did it! Iām going to go ahead and finish up the prompts today, because I wonāt be around the next few days.
Thursday: (Activity) If you havenāt already done so, make a list of your 2015 goals! If you already have your goals, share some of your strategies for reaching your goals!
Run a 10K. (The one Iām leaning toward is in the beginning of June.)
Run a half-marathon. Or, if not an actual race, run 13.1 miles.
Run/walk 1000 miles this year, with at least 40% being running.
Make my gym membership worth the money (meaning I need to go in at least 5 times a month, even in the summer, meaning donāt let my strength training slip when I can finally start running again.)
Learn to snowboard well enough to make a run down the mountain by myself.
Learn to write my own SQL queries so I donāt have to call my neighbors every time I need a new one.
Get two new tattoos - dog paws on my wrist and a turtle for my cousin (havenāt decided where yet).
Friday: (Question/Reflection) What are you looking forward to in 2016? What are you worried about for the new year?
Looking forward to lots of things, but many of them are still sort of broad concepts at this point. Given the friends Iāve been spending time with the last few months, 2016 should be amazing!
Saturday: (Challenge) Measurements, photos, and other indicators! You donāt have to share the photos is you donāt want, but make sure to tell us how you did!
I didnāt do measurements at the beginning of the challenge, so no point in doing them now. What I do know is, I own six pairs of jeans. Three are too big and need to go away once I get some that fit better. One fits well but turns my legs blue despite having been washed many, many times. One is still just a bit too small. And one fits perfectly but has a hole in the inner thigh. I put them on anyway this morning, but then my brain saidĀ āwhat if it the hole gets bigger while youāre at work?!ā so that pair needs to go, too. At the beginning of this year, none of those six pairs of jeans would have fit me had I owned them then.
