Instagram used to only allow you to create 15 second videos. Since the new update, you are allowed to create up to 60 seconds worth of footage. This is pretty cool because before only advertisers were allowed to do this. Also, according to this article, in the past six months, Instagram users who watch videos have increased by 60 percent. This is a huge growth and a great insight for the company to make this update.

Regular users can now even use multiple pictures from their camera roll to make a video. I think the best part about this feature is that you no longer have to download so many different apps to create these types of videos, render your videos and etc. They are making it so much easier for user to do everything they want right in the Instagram app itself.
