loving how the pitt writers are showing that even if these doctors and nurses are typically good, they have short comings. the entire harlow storyline is showing us that no matter how much we love lupe, she still didn’t remember harlow was deaf/hoh.
donnie is being shown to be a caring father and nurse, and yet he doesn’t understand how to properly interact with harlow. i hope they keep showing how even the most well meaning doctors are ableist without meaning to be, because the system is ableist.
