Red Light is f(x)'s 3rd full album.This marks f(x)'s first release in 2014, after being on 11 months hiatus after the release of "Pink Tape".Fuse TV described f(x) as the K-Pop's top hipsters with their new single,having its music video reaching more than 2 million views on YouTube on first day. As of August 2014, the music video has reached more than 10 million views.

f(x)'s 2010 comeback,NU ABO from their first EP NU ABO.The title track "Nu ABO" (Nu 예삐오) is a play on words meaning "New Blood Type": A, B and O are blood types.The title is supposed to represent the fact that f(x) is a new group bringing their new talents, implying that they are the "new blood" to the music industry.
