The third instalment of the L’Année de la Rouge is this bomb collaboration with Dunham. Coming at 6.6%, it’s a blend of Rouge de Mekinac and Dunham’s Orange de Dunham. It pours an opaque copper colour with a foamy head and a funky, citrusy nose, it’s balanced and tart up front, sharply carbed, the young, hoppy beer it’s blended with mellows the vinegar sour vibes of the Rouge, bringing in a more subtle, citrusy tang while keeping the puckering elements, subtle cherry notes, it’s tangy and smooth, refreshing and balanced, ending in a funky, sour, malty finish.
