Part 5 of liveblogging my current Loki fic writing and attempt Novel November. (Previous parts here, here, here, and here.)
It's the last week of November. Thank god!
I'm over this now, but the completionist in me is like, you've done it for three weeks, don't waste that! lol! I'm hoping I can finish a day early - I really need a weekend day where I can do some extra chores and errands. XD
Tonight I wrote 1700+ words. Mostly Loki remembering his time in the Black Order. That was fun. :/
I have 53k now, including what I wrote in October, and over 40k for November. Only 6 days to go!
But what I realise now is that I'm not even half way through yet. So who knows how long this will eventually be, or how long it will take to finish drafting it, let alone editing it. I've enjoyed the challenge and the progress from writing every day, but there's no way I can keep that up and live a normal life. I think maybe 600-800 words a day might be reasonable with a bit of effort, until I finish this, but that still means early next year some time before even the first draft is done. XD How do you longfic writers do it!?
