After changing my mind a couple of times, I decided to finally scan and put all these 500 hands together. It took a while but it's pretty rewarding to see them neatly arranged like that! I followed a challenge from Ahmed Aldoori once again, please check his Youtube channel of you want to know more about it! I finished the 500 hands in two weeks (June 12th to 27th), of course I learnt a lot but I still need to do a lot more in order to be fully comfortable. The journey never ends 🙏 I must say I got quite sick of drawing hands at the very end, making the last hundred quite painful, especially as I kept increasing the pose difficulty. I referenced mostly from Pinterest, Bridgman's book of a hundred hands, Loomis books, a bit of Burne Hogarth (all of these are Public domain, try to Google them!). I also used this amazing blog : Hatoking.com . All of them were sketched in color pencil and graphite first, then I went over them with fineliners. Each drawing was probably around 5-10 mins. You are more than welcome to study from these, however I would recommend to study from the sources I mentioned instead of copying my mistakes! ❤️ Sketches were scanned with a Canon Lide 220 and cleaned in Photoshop!
