It just hit me - The next 4 yrs of my baby girl Ariyah’s life she will be exposed to images on all media outlets, of a woman of color that is the Vice President of the United States. Within our popular American culture, All Women, but in this specific example, Women of Color no longer are limited to music or film per say, for inspiration or feelings of kinship.
