Writing is rather satisfying, numbers are to.
So in the last week Iโve written three thousand seven hundred words, hopefully four thousand by the time I finish today. That is quite ridiculous, and a hell of a lot more than I wrote first term. What I am surprising myself with is the fact Iโve been averaging above five hundred a day. So really worrying about ability to write enough in time is a waste of time, especially seeming as Iโm spending two/three hours max a day writing, thatโs no time at all. If the guidelines from uni are any thing to go by, I should be doing fourteen hours of work a week, four modules, eight hours a day, half my waking day if I can get things sorted. So if three hours (maybe four) are writing, then there needs to be five hours for reading, research and editing. Easy? Maybe. Considering how this has been much easier that writing in the past, structure to these other five hours I believe will make that all easy too. Allocating time to work is the next big job then because early hours of the day are not practical, Iโm just getting distracted by two friends. And the fact I showed I could write at nine in the evening shows it does not have to be late two be in the mindset, I just need to avoid distractions, something I should be able to do just ignore the internet. So once a week Iโve started printing out my work, so I can sort it and develop my ideas better in front of me, and remind myself of any good ideas I have had, especially seeming as moving forward and writing and writing is the goal here, saving this until the end of the week probably helps with this. And to go on with talking about when to write I just blanked half way through a sentence, being tired probably the biggest culprit.
