been up most of the night design/working, and I noticed that the neighbours' windows remained open all night> I love it! It feels like we have bonded over windows...well I have with them. They may not know it :D

Inspired by Energy: A New Architecture?
energy is infinite! why do we focus on forms, and the finite, when the infinity keeps on going!? the forms are also part of the infinite! The forms also carry that energy!!
What type of architecture would that be? Would the forms require fluidity? Would the "traditional" questions of form and function and their relations become obsolete? Would they stop driving the architecture, or would they just be a part of it?
Today I attended a lecture by Marc Fornes... and I believe he is touching on an aspect of this notion: namely when you have a shape in nature, the form is not "separate"... it is part and parcel of everything around you! There is no "column"... a part that is exclusively structure... but there still IS structure, there is still that served function... His sculptural work is really amazing, and particularly how he talks about the surface and the form all inter-working... there is definitely the notion of complexity and energy being in-formed in the form! So it is supporting and being supported by that infinite energy!

The Q of time seems to be a question, but not only that... but what is matter? Is it energy and vibration that eventually makes things? Why are some solid and for a while... why do they stay in that form? The 3D printing phenom, someone named Ron Chin-Chihuahua : "3-D printing is used to refer to anything that fuses small amounts of material to build up a whole in an open area. Traditional manufacturing removes material or injects/presses into a mold, rollers, or other shaping." ... this made me realize... wow, well that really does though assume addition is the key to matter and energy!

But also today I was reading an essay on architecture of the minority: it argues about how change occurs always in the face of the majority, or the stratification of rules... that there is a natural tendency to break up these very same rules, and give power to that minority...that "hacker-culture"... in it a description on potentiality made me realize that as soon as we meet the specific we never get to one, but we get to infinity. That point of meeting, is creation, and taps into eternal energy and consciousness streams... and information too! It is beautiful! In that point, is everything! God is everywhere was my conclusion...which is actually quite comforting... because then we are never alone!
