So I started posting this already but it didn’t save my draft so I get to start over lol. Pupo = pregnant until proven otherwise ❤

So yesterday was the big day!! We headed up to the office and about an hour from my appointment time I took my Valium and drank a bottle of water because they want you to have a full bladder. We arrive and get settled into the transfer room that’s similar to the normal ultrasound room except this was is attached to the embryology department. The embryologist comes in and shows us a picture of our babies, they are rated 4AA which is perfect! He said our other 2 that made it to today may not make it to freeze which was disheartening but at least we had 2 to transfer today.

They have me get set up in the stirrups and have the external ultrasound to help guide (which was pushing down into my extremely full bladder) and got the speculum in then worked on trying to get the catheter in place. K so I may have mentioned that I do not like my RE, he’s rough and not organized. Luckily the director was there to for some reason, not that I was complaining I had been blessed at my retrieval because my RE was out of the office and she did my surgery in his stead. Anyways, he’s having problems because my uterus is tipped and while he knew this already and the mock transfer went perfect he couldn’t get the catheter bent correctly so it kept catching and hurt extremely bad. Thankfully my husband was there to hold my hand because I can easily say it hurt more then my retrieval did. Finally the director took over and boom, new catheter and she got it in on the second try! They buzz the embryologist and he brings in my babies! They drop them off in their home and then go to check the catheter to ensure they didn’t get stuck in it. We got the all clear so they removed everything, let me chill for a little bit then let me get dressed and go pee.

I had some spotting but not much, once they left my hooha alone it stopped hurting shortly after. We went to Mc D’s and I got a large fry, something about the salt? Kind of an old wives tale I think but a ton of women on a support board swear by it so hey why not lol, who doesn’t love fries? Then made our way to babies r us to wander around, I plan on participating in their trade in event. I had already found some preemie car seats at Target that I liked so I was looking at double strollers and cribs. My husband found some cute bedding he liked and several cribs lol, he’s super excited now I love it! He even told me once I get my bfp I can finally finish stocking up on cloth diapers eeeek!!! Love him! Lol! We of course had to look at baby clothes, because how can you not?
