This was not a sensation that Allen liked, and he was not speaking of the heat. He could handle what felt like a fever, as unpleasant as it could be. But the presence that tried to pull his mind into sleep, to make him give up control of his body...
Allen didn’t like being able to sense how the 14th was trying to take control. Yet, he had grown used to it, just like Timcampy had grown used to watching his master fight it off. This was why the golden golem knew it was bad. The white-haired’s breathing was deep, as if trying to cool his body like this, and his eyes were glazed over.
And this despite having Crown Clown activated. The cloak had half wrapped around his body, mask resting over his face, as if trying to appease him, but Allen lacked sleep.
He managed to focus on the worried golem petting his legs. “Tim... Is it safe for me to move?”
Tim understood what he was asking, and flew out of the alley Allen was hiding in. But the golem instantly knew his master couldn’t risk walking out now, there were just enough people that people would notice he wasn’t well. The last thing he needed was an innocent close, when the 14th seemed so intent on taking over.
Then, Tim noticed a red head that was familiar. The golem looked back at his master, seeing him drop his head. Tim flew straight at the familiar face, coming to hover right in front of the male’s eye level, then grabbed his sleeve with a powerful bite and dragged toward the corner.
