Effective March 22, and until further notice, the government of Kuwait will impose a #nationwide #curfew from #500pm until #400am   People who are found in #violation of the curfew order will be #imprisoned for up to #three #years and #fined #10000KD. As of March 22, all #private #medical #offices, #clinics, and #laboratories are #closed until further notice. #Public and #private #hospitals, and #PrivateHospitalClinics remain #open. All non-emergency government offices are closed at least through Thursday, April 9, unless otherwise notified. On March 19, the government extended the closure of public schools, universities, and colleges through the beginning of August.  On March 13, the Government of Kuwait suspended all public transportation and closed all mosques, public parks, beaches, and public spaces until further notice.  On March 14, the Government of Kuwait closed all shopping centers and malls, except for grocery stores, until further notice.  On March 18, the Government of Kuwait issued a ban on many types of social gatherings, including weddings, receptions, and public and private diwaniyas.  Some stores have restrictions on the age and number of customers who can enter.
