Here's some reviews from issue #4 of GAD! fanzine! If you recall I posted an interview they did with me several months ago. There's more reviews in the next issue and there was also a review of the Nosecone Prophets/Shatterhand split in an earlier issue. So there's UAR content in almost every issue so far! Sorry to ruin your zine like that, Adam...haha!
Multiplicity
Something hit me the other day... In 2012, alone, the number of UAR releases is going to DOUBLE! How did that happen!? Aside from knowing loads of amazing bands (which are also great friends), and being fortunate enough to travel to new and strange lands this year, I guess my IQ just dropped sharply if I decided to take on such a gargantuan task. So if you haven't been following me on facebook or perused the releases page lately here's what's up... Surely you all know about the 40 Hells 7" by now? I've only been talking about it for a year or so already... hah! That one hit it's full release at the end of July. And they're badass so everyone needs to check it out and order 5 copies already! Next up is the Nosecone Prophets/Shatterhand split 7" that should have been out months ago, and you should also know about too. The final artwork is completed on that one and you'll be hearing more about that VERY soon!
Here's where things start getting crazy... We had been kicking this idea around for a while since Cigarette Crossfire is coming over to tour the East Coast on their way to Fest. But it happened really quickly! We're doing a tour 7" that is already at the pressing plant! Right on it's heels are not one but TWO more Shatterhand releases! Their full length Chaos And The Art Of Dissent is already at the pressing plant! And we're also doing a free digi single (with an extremely limited number of free CDs that I will give away with orders upon request) to whet people's appetites for the full length and their upcoming tour in November. But there's still more!!! At the end of the year we're also doing the Nosecone Prophets full length! And, this one makes me ever so happy, a 7" with my good friends and adopted children The Commonwealth Of American Natives. Maybe even something else too... I really don't know anymore!
As you can imagine that means we'll need a LOT of funding to keep my credit card from getting maxed out. So let's do the viral promotion, punk rock family thing and spread the good word about Unsane Asylum! Tell your friends about the releases you really dig (that's all of them, right?). If there's something you've been meaning to pick up from the store for ages but kept forgetting, please do it! Don't care about hard copy releases at all? Then there's buy options for almost everything on the bandcamp page. There's just too many amazing things going on and already done here for a few more dollars to not be flowing into it all more regularly. Anyone that orders (and things are just as cheap if not cheaper for overseas with the conversion rates) gets free stickers and buttons too. Since I'm just cool like that. So let's get this insanity train rolling! There's still a few inches left in my new office to cram records...

Looking For Answers!
After two years in the working 40 Hells have finally released their new 7", Looking For Answers! And after all the work and time and stress that went into it I really couldn't be more pleased with the finished product. The first 30 copies come with a limited edition cover and black vinyl (of which I only have 7 copies left), and the other 470 comes with full color glossy artwork. Numbers 31-130 on gold, 131-230 on blue, and the remainder on black vinyl. Just because we're so happy about this release you can also download it for free until 12pm EST tomorrow! Any distros that are interested in picking up a few copies feel free to get in touch with me. We're also down to the last few dozen copies of the Phoenix Foundation split, one copy of light purple Shatterhand split, and less than 10 copies of the orange version. Don't wait and then hate yourself for missing out on the ones you want!

April 27th 2012
This was quite the excursion! I basically hitch hiked from Chattanooga to Rome so I could see Nosecone Prophets for the weekend... Took off work at 3:30pm on Friday so I could catch a ride to LaFayette. Where I waited at Movies And More, the only video store in town, until Brandon got off of work and then we drove the rest of the way to Rome. Arriving JUST in time to miss The Pox! Literally as we drove up they were walking out after finishing their set. Fuck! But that's not too surprising since it was 10pm before we got there. Anyway... When we walked in everybody was already sooooooooo drunk! Like at the hilarious to watch level of drunk. And I was trying to figure out if 40 Hells was going to make it or not since they didn't get confirmation until maybe 7pm. So it was right before Nosecone started that I told Justin they're on their way and he had to play for an hour... Which turned into an hour and a half! All incredibly, incredibly drunk. And the day before their big festival in Rome. They really felt that in the morning... But inebriation aside they still did a great set. Even busting out a Local Union cover halfway in to which Crow didn't know how to play. So Dalton just jumped in and played along learning it as he went! Amazing. Almost as amazing as the completely unintentional zombie walk that Buddy was doing...haha! Man, he was so hammered. It was right when Nosecone finished that 40 Hells finally arrived and began setting up. But unbeknownst to us there was trouble brewing in the parking lot. A girl had fallen down, sometime during Nosecone's set I guess, and Crow said "nice taint!" to which her boyfriend didn't appreciate. He was out there talking shit about how he was going to beat Crow's ass not knowing that Justin was standing there well within earshot. So while all five of us were watching 40H that dude was getting gang banged in the parking lot! Never a dull moment in Rome...

New Releases!!!
The time is near!!! I paid off the remaining balance of the new 40 Hells 7" (that they've been working to get finished for nearly a year now) last week! So as soon as we finish sorting out the artwork, get it printed, cut, and assembled, this release will finally see the light of day. So it will DEFINITELY be completed by the end of May! If you haven't listened already, the full stream of Looking For Answers is on the bandcamp, and there's two extra bonus tracks on the download. We're also extremely close on sending in the order on the Nosecone Prophets / Shatterhand split 7". The masters are on their final mix, artwork is getting it's final touches, and I'm filling out all the paperwork. So it should be sometime in June that it's ready for your earholes. And seeing as that's about $1000 going on my credit card it would be super awesome if you bought some stuff so I can keep paying my rent! All of the 7"s that are still available are at the rock bottom price of $2, which is going back to $4 as soon as the 40 Hells records arrive, and the CD's are $6 or all three for $15. Those won't be at that price forever either as there's new CD albums on the board as well! And there's buyable downloads of almost everything on the bandcamp.

Full Circle!
Big things have happened in the past month! First off I'd like to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone that has bought records or downloads to help fund the 40 Hells record! Please, keep it up and spread the word. You can now buy a download of Looking For Answers for as little as $2 which also includes two bonus tracks too. But that's not the only record we're working on now... Nosecone Prophets are in the process of demoing their new album. Same goes for some of my favorite Scots, Shatterhand! And seeing as how much they dig each other's tunes I decided they should do a split 7" together. So we're in even greater need for funds (and space in my apartment). You know where it goes from here... Everything in the store is still bargain priced! All of the remaining 7"s are just $3. The Cigarette Crossfire s/t is all gone and the Phoenix Foundation split isn't far behind it so you'd better hurry if you want one! And all of the remaining CDs are $6 or all three for just $15! Most of the bandcamp downloads can be purchased as well. Let's make some records!

Sale for 40 Hells!
My brothers 40 Hells from Atlanta, GA asked me to help finish paying to get their new 7" released... Which I would have been involved in from the start if I weren't flat broke and doing good just to keep the bills payed! But I really wanna help them out so what we're gonna do is have a Sale for 40 Hells! All of the 7"s are now knocked down to a flat $3 each, which is less than it cost to make them, and the CDs are $6 each. You can even get all three CD albums for just $15! Or if you don't care about owning records anymore you can buy some downloads on the bandcamp page. Everything on there has a purchase option aside from Annalise and Mr. Clit And The Pink Cigarettes which will always be free. Here Come The Intrepids have agreed to donate any purchases to the 40 Hells fund as well. Or if you do want hard copies but hate to pay/wait on shipping you can get everything direct from me in Chattanooga or Joel in Atlanta until the copies I gave him run out! And I have a small list of distro items that are available if you come and ask. You can also stream their new 7" Looking For Answers on the bandcamp just to whet your appetite! The 7" will be available for download with two bonus tracks very soon and it's the best stuff they've done so far.
