Magnus tries to make taako cookies for candlenights and burns them so much theyre more like tree ornaments,
ABS THIS IS SO CUTE.. magnus makes like, a COMICAL mess in the kitchen. there’s flour EVERYWHERE. he caught the oven on fire. taako walks in on him and just stares for a second and magnus is rattling off excuses and apologies and taako just like. claps his hands and uses some magic shit to clean the kitchen all up and put out the fire and then he’s like. okay. okay listen. you can’t commit crimes in my kitchen like this. i guess i just have to teach you how to cook. grab a chef’s hat dumbass. we’re going in.
Another taakitz baby thing bc i'm Unashamed and emotional: when they're born, the RQ, Istus and Pan are Right Outside the door sleeping-beauty-fairies-style lining up to bless them w gifts. The RQ is Not Great with kids but she thinks she's got this, gives the baby a bracelet made of feathers that can summon a servant of the RQ to protect them at any time; Istus knits them a blanket that Cannot be destroyed by baby attacks (or ravens pecking it) and it's also a suspiciously lucky charm? (1/2)
Pan gives them a plant that bears like 5 different fruits when it's in bloom, and it seems to live even when this kid's Very Busy parents forget to care for it (2/2)
I love this whole concept it’s so sweet
RQ’s bracelet literally just summons dad. baby is being fussy and her parents haven’t noticed? waves her hand around and suddenly kravitz is transported from the living room to the babies room and he’s like ???? wtf? (she also uses it later as a teen to summon kravitz when she’s at a party and the kids start doing drugs and she’s uncomfortable)
the istus blanket is very useful for the dads to swaddle her in when they have to go adventuring and can’t find a sitter. no matter how much danger they get put in, baby makes it out with not a scratch on her
she uses pan’s tree when she’s also a little older and angry at her parents. she locks herself in her room and like is kinda hungry but she knows taako’s in the kitchen and she’s still mad, luckily her godfather is literal god and gave her a snack tree as an infant
