New Research Release — Deriving the Golden Ratio as a Fractal Attractor in Fractal Theory
I’m excited to share a new paper that formalizes how the Golden Ratio (Φ) emerges naturally from the core operator structure of Fractal Theory. Rather than assuming Φ through geometry or Fibonacci construction, the analysis shows that Φ appears as a fixed-point attractor of recursive operator dynamics under Unity, Division, Scale, and Drift.
This derivation strengthens the mathematical foundations of FT and establishes a direct bridge between classical recursion theory and the deeper recursive structure underlying physical systems. It also sets the stage for the upcoming collaborative work with Sue Broughton as we continue connecting Fractal Theory with universal laws of coherence, attention, and consciousness.
The paper has been released on Academia.edu and OSF.
The Golden Ratio Φ has long appeared across natural systems, yet most explanations treat it as a geometric constant or an imposed tuning par
