Amity 3C Programme Fee Structure: What's Included, What's Not, and What to Budget For
The 3C Programme by Amity University sounds phenomenal, until your father pulls out a calculator.
Then the conversation shifts very quickly from "imagine studying in London" to "okay, but what exactly are we paying for, and how much is this going to cost us in total?"
That's a fair and important question. And it deserves a straight answer, not a glossy brochure version that hides the uncomfortable numbers in footnotes.
So here it is: the honest, complete, nothing-hidden breakdown of what the Amity University’s 3C Programme actually costs.
Understanding the Two-Tier Fee Structure
First, the thing most people don't realise until they're deep into the process: the 3C Programme has two completely separate fee structures.
Tier 1 — Tuition Fee (paid in India, to Amity University Noida)
This is your regular academic tuition. Paid the same way standard Amity fees are paid. This covers your India-based education and the academic component of the foreign semester.
Tier 2 — Accommodation + Services Fee (paid directly abroad, to the foreign institution)
This is separate. This is mandatory. And this is the one that catches families off guard.
Both tiers are non-negotiable. You can't do 3C without both.
What Does the Tuition Fee Actually Cover?
What's Included
Tuition at the foreign partner institution: your academic fee for studying abroad is bundled in
Scheduled industry visits in UK and USA: these are embedded in the programme, not add-ons
Use of learning resources and sports facilities at partner campuses
Airport pickup and drop at foreign locations: yes, someone actually meets you at the airport
What Is NOT Covered (The Part That Actually Matters)
This is where people get surprised. The following are explicitly excluded from tuition:
Boarding and lodging (a major, separate cost, see below)
Daily meals
Return airfare (India → London → New York → India)
Visa application fees
Travel and health insurance
Personal expenses, shopping, tips
Monument entry fees, additional tours
Read that list twice. Then budget accordingly.
The Abroad Accommodation Fees: Real Numbers
Here are the actual 2024–25 figures from the official Amity handbook:
Destination
Accommodation + Services Fee
UK (London)
GBP 3,900
USA (New York/Long Island)
USD 6,825
Canada
USD 5,200
These fees vary year to year. Your batch will be informed of the applicable amount approximately 6 months before your departure date.
Important: there's a late payment penalty of GBP 50 or USD 100 for payments received after the due date (15th July for recent batches). Miss that date, and things get expensive fast, both financially and logistically, because late payment delays your visa application.
* Note: the amount mentioned can change year on year. For actual amount, you can visit Amity University Noida’s official website.
The Real Budget: What You're Actually Spending
Let's do the honest math that nobody puts in the brochure.
One-Time Travel Costs
Return airfare (India → London → New York → India): approximately INR 1.5–2.5 lakh, depending on booking time and season
UK student visa fees: varies, typically INR 15,000–25,000 range
USA J-1 visa fees + SEVIS fee (USD 180): approximately INR 20,000–25,000 combined
Travel and health insurance (mandatory): INR 15,000–40,000 depending on coverage
Daily Living Costs Abroad
The official Amity handbook itself states:
USA: daily minimum expenditure (food + local travel) = USD 50–75
UK: realistically GBP 30–50/day for food, transport, and incidentals
Multiply that across 5–6 months, and you're looking at a significant living cost number, easily USD 8,000–15,000 depending on lifestyle.
Conservative Total Cost Estimate (Above Normal Tuition)
Cost Head
Approximate INR Range
* Exchange rates fluctuate. These are directional estimates, not guaranteed figures.
How to Actually Pay the Abroad Fees
The accommodation fees are paid directly to the foreign institutions, not to Amity India.
For London:
Wire transfer to AMITY GLOBAL EDUCATION LTD
HSBC Bank PLC, Tottenham Court Road, London
SORT CODE: 40-07-07 | SWIFT: MIDLGB2107Y
For USA:
Wire transfer to CROSSBORDER GROUP LLC
JP Morgan Chase Bank N.A.
ROUTING NO: 021000021 | SWIFT: CHASUS33
For Canada:
Demand Draft only, in favour of Amity University Noida
Make sure your bank is set up for international wire transfers well before the due date. This is not the moment to discover your bank account has international transfer restrictions.
What If the Visa Gets Rejected After You've Paid?
This is the question nobody wants to ask, and the answer you absolutely need to know before committing.
If your visa is rejected:
Amity will offer an alternate foreign location (not compulsory)
If only one visa is rejected, you may proceed to the other country
Accommodation fee refund: only if Amity successfully recovers it from the foreign partner
If visa rejection was caused by late payment, a refund is 50% for UK and 75% for the USA only
Transfer to a regular course: possible, but attracts a Rs. 15,000 transfer charge, plus you continue paying 3C tuition
The moral of the story: pay on time, apply early, and don't gamble with the visa timeline.
Smart Financial Planning: When to Start
The accommodation fee is due 6 months before departure. For a January travel date, that means payment around July. For families, this means planning needs to begin at the time of admission, not when the invoice arrives.
Start conversations about international bank transfers, insurance, and travel budgeting the moment you enrol. The families who stress the least about the 3C finances are always the ones who plan 18–24 months ahead.
The Bottom Line
The 3C Programme is not cheap. Anyone who tells you otherwise isn't being straight with you.
But here's the context: a single semester at a foreign university as an independent student would cost USD 15,000–25,000, minimum. A full foreign MBA runs USD 40,000–80,000. The 3C delivers 6 months of structured international education, industry exposure, and lived global experience at a significantly lower cost, while your Indian degree stays intact.
Is it a significant investment? Yes. Is it manageable with proper planning? Also yes.
Amity University's programme counsellors and the IAD (International Affairs Department) team can walk you through batch-specific fees, payment timelines, and financial planning in detail. Connect with them before you commit; they'd rather answer your questions now than deal with surprises later.
FAQs About Amity’s 3C Programme
Q. Can I get an education loan for 3C costs?
Indian education loans typically cover tuition paid in India. Foreign accommodation and living costs may need separate financing. Consult your bank specifically about international components.
Q. Is travel insurance really mandatory?
Yes, especially for the USA. The programme requires minimum medical coverage of $100,000 per accident or illness, with a deductible not exceeding $500.
Q. Can I work part-time abroad to offset costs?
No. Both UK student visa and USA J-1 visa regulations explicitly prohibit paid or unpaid work, including internships, for 3C programme students.
Q. Is the daily expense figure in the handbook realistic?
USD 50–75 is the stated minimum. Budget higher (USD 80–100+/day) for any kind of comfortable living, occasional dining out, or weekend exploration.

Happy Valentine’s Day, have some PreCure Yuri :D
This ship is between Tsubaki Akashiro/Cure Camellia from Rainbow PreCure and Noa Tsutsuji/Cure Azalea from Heart de Fleur PreCure
The Ship Name is Everpink.
One day, I was drawing Cure Camellia in all her cute glory, and then I thought I should draw another lead cure next to her. Then I told my friends that “I haven’t even finished this Cure’s outfit yet but I have this urge. This urge to ship.”
Then my wife @yellowpinyatanoob47 said,
“Hey I’m the devil on your shoulder. You should ship them.”
“Hey I’m the angel on your shoulder. You should ship them.”
And now they are gay :). They also came up with the ship name Everpink because camellias and azaleas can be evergreen flowers.
Happy Valentine’s Day
