of course the ONLY time the akiridions meet the trollhunters is when there is a freaking TIME LOOP of all things. i hate that sm, bc it also had development for Aja

i also found it kinda weird how Blinky said that the only monsters were humans when Vex called him a monster, and Jim said nothing?? i'm not the only one who finds that weird right??

i forgot how innthe birdie episode that everytime anyone said "birdie" an eagle sound played 😭 like okay sure 😭

i love love love how Senor Uhl was so defensive of aja and krel, especially when Birdie kind of compared them to "illegal aliens." i keep forgetting about the little hints of racism in this

i also liked how at the end Aja "stole" Toby's line, and Shannon once again dropped her volcano. may it rest in piece(s)

i rewatched some of the 1st season of trollhunters and noticed how different Jim's voice sounded in D'aja Vu, but i think i'm definitely used to it by now so it doesn't bother me as much

if the halftone version is messed up, i'm not sure why , but i do have the speedpaint with me!

i actually started watching 3Below last year, and i stopped when i got to the part where the audience learned that Varvatos was the traitor. i'm still kinda mad about that, but i'm giving the series another go since it's leaving Netflix later this summer 🥲

i don't think i've ever drawn Aja before? maybe? but i think i did a good job! i love how it came out! it was based on the beginning scene from episode 5 in season 1, where Aja wakes up from a nightmare and the Mothership plays Clair de Lune for her while she cuddles Luug. one of my favorite scenes so far

What I love about them: Nghhh KREL, my chiiillddddd, I have in my mind adopted the boi, cause... okay I dunno why but his immediate love for music caught me off guard and made me adore him. He's a grumpy and incredibly intelligent Akiridion with a talent for music and that to me is so great! Also just his dry sense of humor and personality that sometimes offsets his more out of this world situation like, I love how he can be the straight man but also incredibly goofy when it comes to just jokes. His character arc about seeing Arcadia and Earth as home is so touching and sweet and nghh my precious booiiii.

What I hate about them: With any other character, I would say his ego would be one of them but honestly, I don't have any problems with that cause it's never too much and like...it makes sense to Krel's character. Although, the fact he didn't get any more screentime in Wizards or Rise of The Titans is... yeah, I did not like that. :(

Favorite Moment/Quote: Oh maaannn, favourite moment- definitely when he hacks the Mothership and drops down in that dramatic entrance just playing his music! PLEASE, he looked soooo happy about it xD I have several favourite quotes from Krel: 'Hey, before the ceremony, Papa told me that we are all each other has. That's why I'm not afraid. Because I have you.' , 'Were you K-I-S-S-ing?!' and of course, 'I'm DJ Kleb, taking control of our mothership!'

What I would like to see more focus on: ANYTHING. I dunno, I just feel like there was so much of Krel we could have had. Him at Camelot and having to live through a time without tech, Douxie and him being best bros and making the new amulet together, JUST HIM AND CLAIRE BEING BESTIES.

What I would like to see less focus on: NGHHH I CAN'T THINK OF ANY CAUSE I JUST WANT MORE OF MY BAB-

Favorite pairing with: NGHHHH I AM HIGHLY IN THE CAMP OF AROACE KREL BUUUUTTTT close call between Kreamus and Kreli-

Favorite friendship: Claire and Krel cause THE POTENTIAL and Krel and Eli cause yes, they're cute and also him and Toby.

NOTP: ..... honestly I dunno, again, I very much see Krel as aroace, despite thinking Kreamus and Kreli are cute. It's a bit hard for me to see the boy in romantic relationships.

Favorite headcanon: Gonna just... Krel and Illy being best buddies, just nerds learning about tech and magic from each other. ALSO, Krel working at HexTech and becoming a hedgewizard. please. yes. i need it.
