The weird thing about grief is how the world around you doesn't stop. Your immediate world has been shattered and the rest of the planet just keeps spinning like nothing happened and you want to scream at everyone to stop. Don't they know that a person who made this world so much brighter is gone? Don't they understand how much pain you're in? Don't they realise you feel like you can't breathe?
The truth is that they don't. Every single person on this planet has to deal with grief at some point in their lives and yet it is something we try to hide. Sure, people understand. They care. They want to be there for you but ultimately, grief is personal and after some time goes by, they move on to other things, other situations and the grieving are left to fend for themselves. The world keeps spinning and you get pulled along with it, all while trying to deal with the missing part of your heart.
Grief is weird, man.
I’m thinking deep right now, so don’t mind me:
Inspired by a book read, yet haven’t finished
We get so caught up in what we’re doing that we forget where we are going.
Think what exactly is love, when it isn’t exactly that kissy-kissy love.
Love is that feeling when you give something to someone, helping out a hand without any obligations. We worry so much about finding love that we don’t realize it’s something you have to give.
