that's fair! i recall really liking the last few eps of s3, but tbh wasn't a fan of how it gets there. and yeah bittersweet is a good way to put it.. my biggest issue iirc was just how linear everything felt for a show that usually has so much fun with characters (esp secondary chars) and coincidence and lateral consequences. and for me, a lot of the catharsis comes from the weird n roundabout ways an inevitability plays out bc there's cultural subtext/humour/self-fulfillment/etc. but yeah... i think i get what you mean anon!
