Oh man, I've been so bad with posting lately! I blame it on the puppy. This is yesterday's 5 mile run. It was not as easy as I would have liked, but I did it. Tomorrow i do Fartleks. Whatever those are...

That's right, 7 miles in just over an hour. Take that! It was a rough run, and I was in pain for part of it, but the first 3 miles felt pretty good. However, I think I accelerated too much in mile 3 and it made the rest of the run rough. Note to self: figure out a way to be faster slower (does that even make sense??)...

An hour later...
I needed to run. I needed to get away from my family for a bit, so I went. I literally sprinted for 2 miles straight (in just over 15 minutes). Then walked for a bit to take a few pictures of the gorgeous sunset. Then I jogged for a bit. Then I sprinted again. Then I walked. And walked. Then I jogged behind a barefoot running man. Finally I found the strength to return to my parents' house (not home). 6 miles later my mind is clearer. I am a better person now. I am glad I'm a runner now.

GPS Fail! (3ish miles)
My phone did it again! Failing with the GPS. I took my iPhone (with RunKeeper) out with my running kicks and RUNNING SKIRT for a nice little afternoon jog. After 15 minutes RunKeeper told me I had run 3.6 miles. I think not! So, I decided to turn off RunKeeper and just do what felt right. I'm guessing I ran about 3 miles in around 30 minutes. And guess what? It felt liberating not to hear RunKeeper in my head!Â
Also, I really can't complain about RunKeeper as it was a free app...
