Last year, I stared a #gratitudejar where I made sure I ended my day writing at least one thing I am thankful for, in a piece of paper (I ALWAYS ended up writing more than one thing!). I continued my #GratitudeJar into 2018 and and I am glad I did as it helped get me through many tough days. 😊 . 2018 was a year of #growth for me. I saw a lot of things in a new perspective and it has helped me be a better person.. Challenging me to step outside of my comfort zone. Though 2018 was not the easiest.. A lyric from a song by @jonmcreynolds always carried me through: "May your bad days prove that God is good." And these words became true more than ever this year. No matter what.. There is ALWAYS something to be thankful for. This year started out with so much darkness.. Anxiety crippled me and so much unknown kept me fearful.. BUT GOD!!! He stood by me. Sang over me on my hardest days and showed me how loved I am. He gave me peace and healing in the midst of the pain and chaos. I have learned that Light will ALWAYS overcome darkness. So grateful that God redeemed and rescued me from the darkness and the fear of the unknown. Because of this, I have been able to experience some beautiful things I will never forget from 2018. He has made me BRAVE and COURAGEOUS and I can look forward into 2019 with much HOPE, EXCITEMENT, and EXPECTATION.. Trusting that His plans are far greater than I can imagine. I can't wait to see them unfold in this new year! 💛 .
