Flickr is still one of my favorite photo communities.
Flickr is still one of my favorite photocommunities, not because of like or comments you get. It's not always about social networking or the creepy run for a like. flickr is great because it is o inspiriational. Groups like "film is not dead" "film is alive" or "analog photography" a sources of inspiriation for me. All photographers i love, ifound on flickr. So, please show your photos on flickr. My first love of photo communities and still one of my favorites. 36-frames.

C/O Berlin: Exhibtion, also in Berlin
Gestern berichtete ich schon über Matt Mangham, der eine neue Serie über analoge Fotografie auf Vimeo produziert. In seiner zweiten Folge berichtet er über Julian Martin. Er nutzt "nur" eine Leica Minilux, um seine Modelle ins rechte Licht zu rücken. Gute Fotos brauchen nicht viel. ein wenig technisches Verständins, ein Gespür für Licht und ein gutes Auge. Viel Spaß beim zuschauen.

Heute habe ich Matt Mangham auf Vimeo entdeckt. Er ist "Director of Photography" bei einer Produktionsfirma in San Diego. Anscheinend liegt ihm die analoge Fotografie ebenfalls am Herzen und so produziert er wunderbare Videos über Fotografen, die analoge Kameras nutzen. Die erste Folge behandelt Brooks Sterling, der in süd-Kalifornien insbesondere den Sufer-Lifestyle fotografiert. Schaut einfach selbst mal rein.
