I was hoping the others voted for Jayson, then Tai could have stood up with both idols and made a big production before saying "I think I will keep the idols" and letting Jayson go home. That would have been the best tribal ever, and Tai would have had two idols. but, the others decided to do the bidding of Scot and Jayson without even flushing a single idol, so my fantasy tribal remains just a fantasy.

smartsenior: Scot thought the girls would collapse without his help, instead they prospered...this guy is showing his true colors with every episode. You can see why he was a bench sitter in real life, he's all bluster and no talent. His team has the idols, he is being brought along on their success just like when he was a ball player. Must be tough to never be a real winner but I don't feel sorry for him, he is the very definition of dumb jock.
kdm302: Truth. Who knew it was possible to be a giant, professional athlete and at the same time be a whinny little b***h who wants to take her dolls and go home the moment things don't go her way?

Why didn't Joe immediately agree to play with the boys and thn totally sabotage them. That would have been so awesome. Also, why didn't anyone go to Tai and remind him that he is a better person than to get caught up int he juvenile tactics of Scot and Jayson. It looks like they finally do that in the next episode, but that we my immediate thought this week.

I don't think either Tai or Cydney deserve the fishy. -Tai could have used how Jason and Scot were acting as a way to get in with the girls. He could have pretended to go with the guys, still get Jason's idol, but flipped stealing Julia's place and been in an alliance of five. If the women had been playing a sensible strategy instead of flipping on Debbie, he was left in a place of powerless, dependent on Julia making up her mind. Also, the thing with the fire could get out. And I feel like sabotaging camp violates the basic social contract of survivor. It's abusive behavior. People expect to be blindsided and betrayed. They don't expect their fellow survivors to try to attack their health and basic resources needed to survive. If I had a roommate or housemate acting like that, it would be a clear cut case of domestic abuse. So I feel like on a basic level, even if behavior like that is effective in game, you're still not winning, because you're trading away a piece of your soul. Tai's such a nice guy that I bet he regrets how he behaved for the rest of his life. -Cydney doesn't deserve it either. Voting out Debbie seems like a terrible move. There's no way the dominant male alliance would take her along to the end since she's such a threat, so she's losing numbers to stay in a losing game. Better to put five votes on someone and hope they don't play an idol. Now Julia's can flip to the guys and if necessary, they can tiebreak the 4-4 split with an idol. It might be oddly enough that Joe played the best this week. He made the right call of refusing to turn on Debbie. He didn't shoot his game in the foot by destroying camp. He didn't alienate his allies enough that they tried to vote him out. That's a pretty low bar, but with the terrible play this week, that might be enough. Alternatively, maybe no one deserves the fishy.
