Amanda Charani Rukeil is the daughter of Kem Rukeil and Esmé Rukeil. Kem and his family are from a Romanichal background while Esmé is from European ancestry.

Kem is Amanda’s father. He is exactly as described, tall and fast, and a loveable enigma according to Amanda. He’s usually always cheerful and tries to be a mediator in what little conflicts and arguments happened around him. While his peaceful and fun nature put you at ease, do not underestimate him. Amanda has not seen him angry much in her life, but when she did it was a fear undescribed.

From that point on Kem and Amanda traveled. Amanda has always been too curious for her own good, when asked why they move around so much, she was given an immediate awnser of “that’s the way our family is-“ or “it’s tradition dear!” As Amanda grew older she eventually came to realize that this part of her culture had dissipated mostly over time and is not seen much today. Of course she had questions now more than ever but they were always deflected to a point where she just went with it and never asked questions- at least to her father.

Her personal life has been a wild ride since moving out of her father’s, college was a dream she wished she could have afforded. She spent two years at a community college to hopefully increase some job choices. She’s dated men and women though they’ve not lasted long past the first date for some reason, that or crushes on many who don’t feel the same. Amanda blames it on her freckles and anxiety. She doesn’t know why and probably has a long list if asked. When someone shows a nice gesture, she doesn’t quite know how to feel and makes it hard for her to meet new people. Therefore she tries to stick to herself and only attends breakfast for her dad. Though this is seeming to be a problem since moving into 3150, with the many knocks on her doors, ghostly visits from a pestering ghost and a rushed trip to Lily’s. Amanda doesn’t complain though, she’s welcoming the new social interactions. She’s always been a little lonely, so hopefully she can find some friends here. Mabye more?

She tries to be friendly with her neighbors, she seems to get along well with Allora, Inanna and surprisingly Esen. She’s curious to get to know Lily and Reul more. Mallory seems to pique her interest the most, that and when people say “no, let’s not delve deeper” she says “too bad because I already brought the shovel”. Calder and Flora seem to be the ones she’s most unnerved by, getting caught eavesdropping by Calder doesn’t help her uncomfortableness around him. Amanda loves her aunt, but finds it unnerving that her Aunt seems to know everything that’s going on. As for this moment Amanda seems to not get along with Gili or Freddie. While openly nice to Gili, she won’t admit that she finds Gili quite annoying. She finds Freddie detestable and seems to find herself bickering with him more than she likes.

As for the mysterious events, Amanda doesn’t really care. She’s curious but not invested. It’s not her problem, at least not yet. The only thing that seems to be pushing her is Freddie, who seemed to be outraged at her lack of caring in the situation. That and the fact that she might have friends here. After what happened with Allora and Lily she seems to be more attentive to the problem, if people are willing to care about her this much, why shouldn’t she help/care about them?

For the romance portion it seems to be undecided. She’s very intent on the other party saying something first as she’s afraid of admitting feelings that the other party doesn’t share. However.. this could change?

(GOD IM SORRY THIS IS SO LONG IVE BEEN WORKING ON IT SINCE LAST WEEK. I’ve “redacted” and left some things out since they aren’t officially in the story yet. But this is my MC! I give all my MCs the same first name as me, but this one is the one that deviates from me Personality wise. I’m excited to update her stats/friendships/relationships/past as the story continues! Thank you @3150dahliast for making this wonderful story. I have actual fan art I’m working on with the sims! Finals are here for me so I’m not sure when I’ll get it done but it’s a thing! Love you 😘)

 Elm Moon, the vagrant mechanic finally forced to stay in one place, @3150dahliast.

Taking after his father, Elm never really learned how to settle down once he moved out on his own. Traveling from one place to another, crashing on couches, making friends, and stealing hearts as he went, he lived as freely as he wanted. 

Walking into his room is always a risk, with all the junk laying on the floor. Between half taken apart machines, overdue library books open to random pages, and journals bursting to the seems with momentos of his travels, it’s more than likely somebody will eventually break something tripping in his room. He’s 24, has no idea what he’s doing in life, but knows he likes not knowing. The chaos that can be 3150 Dahlia Street keeps him entertained, especially all the new people. However, staying there for too long is going to make him antsy, especially when he starts to develops closer relationships with people.

This is the Rukeil family or more commonly known, dad’s side of the family. They come from a Romanichal background. The women in this family are notorious for graying young, as for why, some have said it has to deal with -redacted- and others blame it on the family’s heavy reliance on spiritualism and the like. Dad just says it’s genetics.
