Q.T (Quiet Time) - 24.01.2013
I think today’s a day to feel the blessing on it. I couldn’t sleep at night because I had work to do (and was videochatting with someone *cough*) and when I arrived at school I had to be told that our teacher is ill so I have to wait for 1:30 hrs but I think it’s good because when I would be home knowing that our teacher is ill I would still be sleeping or working on my project. But now I’m at school with nothing left to do so I decided to have a Q.T with God. When I have a Q.T with God I pray first - for wisdom to understand the message of God today - to get to know to it I have 3 guiding questions. How is God? What does he want to teach us? How do I bring it into my life? I always write down those questions so I won’t forget them and afterwards I write a text, answering to those question. (It’s my first Q.T with God in english but still it was not too hard disregarding the text will have mistakes). For the bible verse I use “YouVersion” in which everyday a new bible verse is given. Todays bible verse is Psalms 30:5 and I’m very thankful for this bible verse because everytime I forget about God he reminds me of what kind of father he is to me and this time especially while having many fights and stuff nowadays those words helped me to watch straight again.

How is God? What does he want to teach us? How do I bring it into my life?
I think God is showing us a personality. Therein he shows 2 oppositions, the hatred opposites the favor and the sadness opposites the happiness. Though those oppositions are repulsive both in each other. You can get happy only when you were sad before or you can forgive someone when you were angry at this person before. Moreover God wants to teach us that we have to be always happier when we were sad once and we have to forgive all the time while we can be angry sometimes. To bring this into my life I have to pray more and read the word of God even more. The word is God, praying to God is spending time with him. The more time we spend with God the more we learn to love. Furthermore this concept is really important to answer the question about the relationship to God having any kind of units and why everybody should try his best to praise God. In this verse those oppositions let us know that you need to lack of something to get it. So if we lack of relation to God we can become so much closer to God while people who are close to God can’t get too much closer to God. Everybody should try his best to get to know God because he is the one who created us. There is nothing in this world which can be compared to him because without him we wouldn’t even exist to praise something. That’s why we should run after God as long as we can because when we miss a chance we can’t get it back when it’s too late.
