This whole leg has been really, really fulfilling for me. it’s been really, really exciting. The shows, as always, have been incredible. There’s a different pressure of playing to, like, a home crowd, and this whole leg has been has felt like playing at home.

There’s been a long… we’ve done a lot of shows this year, but we haven’t done any shows in England. So it’s been nice to play for English and Irish crowds. The shows have been just unbelievable. And don’t get me wrong, every single show is special in its own way, but there is something extra special about, you know, the shows on home turf. You’ve got family there, you’ve got more family there than would be in other shows, you’ve got friends there. So it does carry a different level of importance.

Nights like tonight— it just reminds me of all that work to get here, and it’s a big fucking deal.

What happened last night at the O2— I’m still kind of struggling to, not just articulate it— just process the whole thing, really. It was such a rollercoaster of emotions. Woke up on the day, and I just kept trying to tell myself it was just any other show. But no, it didn’t feel like that, and actually for the best way. I felt the pressure yesterday, but I felt that it really kind of ignited me and kind of elevated me, so. It was a really really fulfilling feeling. It was lovely to have my family there, and my friends there, and it felt like a real triumph. It felt like I’ve been working towards that very moment.
