♒ - Family headcanon
Both of Johnny's grandfathers aren't too close to him but if asked with whom he gets along better, he'd probably answer that with Harvey Brown, his mother's father. Both Harvey and John Sr. used to be Scarers, but Harvey had to retire early due to his physical condition that was getting worse and worse. He (and his wife, Shirley's mother, Tilda) used to spend a lot of time in the Worthington residence when Johnny was a kid. Even back then Johnny spent more time with his grandma than grandpa but they got along fluently.
John Sr. on the other hand has always been a distant family member to Johnny. He respects his grandfather a lot and doesn't think that much ill of him but he thinks and knows that John Sr. is the reason John Jr. isn't exactly the nicest father around. He is also the first person Johnny has seen to actually make his father humble and perhaps a bit afraid. All the John's of the Worthington family have respect for each other but the younger is always afraid of the older one.
Johnny likes his grandfathers even though he might be a bit intimidated by them at times. They never were as close as Johnny was with his sisters or with grandma Tilda, but it doesn't really bother him. It would've been different if Johnny wasn't in terms with any of his family members.
