I will not use words like dead, or try to refer to someone in any past tense, but it's a shame that Jeff Beck moved on unexpectedly and I don't think he had expected to be vaulted to the pretty much that's blues guitarist out there when that happened to him, and because he's no longer here it's vaulted others that I am quite certain didn't expect that and didn't expect to be vaulted to a pinnacle of musicianship and Jeff Beck is someone that i've never really listened to too much as much as I listen to him in the past couple years, it's not cuz I don't like blues or anything like that it's just I don't know just didn't really happen I heard some of the old stuff he's always been amazing player nothing wrong with that he's part of the british group that how i've ordered it is on The Day the music died, the british musicians saved rock and roll and i've also said that britain took our rock and roll and they just absolutely killed it in so many ways that I don't want to say they kick their ass in it but that's pretty much what they did because they put out some amazing stuff starting like in 1960, and if you look at the timelines of what was going on over here and when the british invasion of the beatles going on i'm not joking the brits saved rock and roll and just think about it if you look at all the great bands that came out of britain and hell just with led Zeppelin alone that we don't have anything that compares to that but then you also Black sabbath and Black sabbath and led Zeppelin that's just incredible, you look at the musicians within that the brits have Eric clapton they have the beatles Peter frampton queen and they just really had a whole bunch of great great rock and roll cream The yardbirds bad finger there's just so many , and I have worded it before in the past with friends that have the British just kicked our ass in our own rock and roll and it's like they The Beatles showed up over here they took our rock and roll and they never looked back and they took it over there and there is just some incredible rock and roll that came out of Britain
