so here is a random update and explanation about my experience getting the 2nd Moderna shot
i got my 2nd vax shot on the 22nd at 2:30pm, and went to work that day at 4pm (4 hr easy shift) and was fine.
later in the evening i started to feel verrrry sore (i even noticed the swelling in my shoulder), got the chills suddenly and stomach started to churn. i woke up in the middle of my slumber, still with the chills and it was hard to go back to sleep due to the weirdness in my tummy going on :( never felt nauseous however, just on the brink of it lol
in the morning the stomach problems subsided but i still felt chilly af and was shivering but my body was very warm and everything just felt weird like it does when you are sick. but i was not sick to my stomach or having a runny nose or nothing! i wasn’t able to take my temperature but it felt like i had a fever.
and all of that was just weird enough to call out of work, and thankfully i now am able to get 4 hours of PTO for getting the vaccine 😍 so i took the night off and today, i feel much better. no sick feelings, but i do still notice how swollen my shoulder is and it’s still a little sore. but it shouldn’t be a problem going into work especially when i love my job <3
(oh yeah i got a new job and the coworkers are rad af, and the customers are SUPER nice and cool too ! manager is lit and has the same bday as me!!! the building is cute af, from the 50′s made of brick and ugh so many good things to say about it honestly.🧩)
