“Thanks for coming out with me tonight Ki.” Sai sighed as she let out a long breath, watching as her breath created a cloud of smoke in the freezing air. “I really needed the break. The media has been all over us lately and it’s so frustrating.”

“I get it, I mean I don’t but I get that it sucks. I can’t imagine having people constantly following you.” Kihyun sighed, rubbing his hands together. Him and Sai had always been close, they had been best friends since the day Sai was born. Kihyun was about three months older than her, but after Sai was born they had always been together. They went to daycare together, every single year of school together, hell Sai was even his “best girl” (she came up with the title herself, claiming she wasn’t a bridesmaid or a best man, instead saying she was “best girl”) at Kihyun’s wedding. They had always been there for each other, and they always would be. “Plus we haven’t hung out in forever. Not since I had Jiwoo.”

“Right, how are my little nephews?” Sai asked.

“They are fine.” Kihyun sighed.

“What’s wrong?”

“Hyunjun and I are both split on having another kid though. I want to try and have a little girl, but he says Jiwoo and Hajoon are enough.” Kihyun sighed. “I don’t know. We had Hajoon pretty young and it’s not like there’s a huge age gap between him and Jiwoo. Plus Jiwoo is still fairly young… But I don’t know. I want to try having a daughter.” Kihyun explained.

“Trust me as someone who has four sisters, little girls aren’t as great as you think.” Sai giggled. “But I’m sorry you guys are arguing about it, do you need me to beat Hyunjun’s ass?”

“No I think we’re good Sai, but thanks for offering.” Kihyun laughed. “I’ll call you if I need help okay?” They stopped as they got to Kihyun’s front door.

“Sure, keep me in mind.” Sai smiled. “Come here dummy.” Sai opened his arms and they hugged each other. “Just explain to Hyunjun why you want to have another kid, and explain it doesn’t have to be a right away thing. You guys will work it out, you always do. And if worse comes to worse you can steal Haeun from your parents.”

“Thanks Sai.” Kihyun tightened his grip on her. “I love you okay?”

“Don’t get emotional on me Son.”

“It’s Yoo now…”

“Right.” Sai giggled. “Five years later and I still forget you got married.”

“It’s not your fault, I got married pretty young. I’ll see you next week okay?”

“Yup, have a good night Kihyun.” Sai released the hug and waved as he went inside his house. Sai pulled her jacket tighter and adjusted her face mask before walking away, not noticing the camera watching her every move.

“Sai Unnie!” Sai groaned when she heard her groupmate’s voice, pulling her covers over her head.

“Go away Nari.” Sai hissed.

“Unnie you have to get up, you need to see this!” Sai was awoken by a phone being shoved in her face. Sai rubbed one eye as she looked at the phone. She was wide awake after reading the headline.
