Some character designing I did for myself and @2edgytrolls ! This got very out of hand very quickly… It was only supposed to be one character and then that turned into two and now I’m so deep into the backstory these two have and I blame it all on Eli.

What is their name?

“Cerbes. Never did get a last name. It’s whatever though.”

Relationship with them?

“I feel fucking stupid for saying ‘bff’. But that’s my best fucking friend.”[you are absolutely certain that that’s what the double f stands for]

What do you view them as? (family,friend,other)

“A... a very good friend. And an overall good person. A surprisingly reliable guy that can even handle my uhh-”[you make vague gestures at yourself]“- Me... being me. I guess. He’s… got his walls up, and he’s got his secrets, but… but it feels nice knowing that I, of all trolls, was let into it. I like him. A lot. And I can’t really say that for most trolls.”

Do you feel attracted to them in any way?

“Wh- I mean. I. Y-yes?? Yeah? He’s... he’s pretty. Even if he argues otherwise when I tell him.”[HUFF. WHEEZE. Well you aren’t fucking blind, the guy’s pretty and also your type to a fucking T. It’s almost embarrassing really]

What’s one thing you’d like to do with them?

“Take him to all my favorite little places to eat. I know he’d fucking lose his shit over dragon’s beard candy- and I know just which food stand to get it at.”

Tell us one memory you have with them.

“Dressing up for Halloween in mid-November and celebrating it with him late as hell. I did his makeup super spooky. We watched scary movies. We got a little drunk.” [very drunk] “Stuffed our faces. It was... nice. Seeing him smile and have fun like that for the first time. It’s started a tradition between the two of us. Celebrating holidays late as fuck together.”

Anything you’d like to ask them or state to them? If so, say it now, please!

“He knows it’s safe to be vulnerable with me. He knows it’s okay to feel feelings and shit. I know how soft he gets with me. So I have nothing to say. He just... knows. We get each other like that, y’know?”

Pheres will eat anything, and he has a tendency to hoard food: the fact that he survives off of nutrient bars is partially convenience, but it’s also partially just that he can stack months worth in his camper for relatively little cost, and actually feel somewhat secure. His food hoarding doesn’t tend to be obvious as a result, especially when he’s so picky about actually eating more than the minimum he needs, but if you send him to a party, he’s going to be filling his bag with sandwiches wrapped in napkins, and anything else that’ll fit. Is he going to eat it? No. But if you turn down free food, that’s how you starve.

Pheres wants to be seen as serious, dignified, noble and intelligent. This is why he tries to keep such a tight hand on his body language in person - but when he gets excited, all of that goes out the window. When he’s not repressing it, he’s a constant flurry of movement: bouncing, hand-clasping, spinning if he gets excited enough, talking with his hands wide enough to knock over shelves, and sometimes himself. He tends to skip, rather than walk. He laughs a lot. He’s a very, very, very expressive person if he doesn’t reign it in.

Pheres likes kids! Give him anyone under the age of fifteen and he will want to personally mother them, even if they’re a legitimate little hellmonster. Because they’re young, and he doesn’t want anyone to go through any of the bullshit he had to.

Sipara’s expressive, at the heart of things! She will shriek, rage-peep, clasp her hands together and spin, and fling herself bodily into people that she loves. She isn’t like Pheres - she doens’t feel the need or have the instinct to talk with her hands constantly - but when her emotions bubble up, she finds it very, very hard not to show it physically.

She’s leery of trolls past Ascension age, but she’s very, very bad at conceptualising age: Quanin was barely ten years older, but it was easier to think of her as being dozens and dozens, so she did. Everyone younger than her by more than two years is a child, everyone older than six years is positively ancient and potentially alarming. The fact she was already close to Hadean when she found out he’s over ten years older is.. the only reason why she didn’t slink out the back door, and she’s still more comfortably hand-waving him off as hundreds of years older (but functionally nineteen) than she ever would be with acknowledging, oh shit, he’s thirty. One’s abstract, the other is definite and kind of terrifying.

Sipara’s bravado is motivated by fear, ultimately! She’s scared of what people could do to her, or do to Pheres, or anyone that she knows. She’s scared of the fact she might not be able to stop them, if she had to, even if she tried. So she channels all of that into spite and ire and the constant need to prove that she’s better, because if she’s better than everyone else, then there’s no reason for her or anyone else to be scared. She’s got this!

Sipara’s.. not incapable of flushed romance, but she’s critically disinterested in it, and wouldn’t even know where to start. She gets competitive over everything, she’s aggressive, and she wants to fix people, ultimately. None of that’s great for flush, and she’s trained herself to lean into these things so well that she doesn’t really know how to turn them off at this point. Then again, she’s only eighteen! She might outgrow it.

Sipara, for all that she can be manipulative, is not fond of conflict between other people that she likes. It makes her anxious if there isn’t a clear side to pick, and she’ll avoid choosing at all as a result, if she can. With that said: if it’s conflict between her friend and someone else, she will jump in and immediately dive for the throat.

Sipara has a lot of feelings, and a lot of them are on clade! She thinks it’s important that you’re friendly at your clade, even if you aren’t friendly with them, and it’s a network of people that are ultimately meant to support you. With that said: she has zero regrets about murdering Rmeros, and has always kept a judging eye towards Pheres’s other quadrants, just in case his constantly terrible taste bites him in the ass again.

Sipara is deeply superstitious. Give her an urban legend, a rumour, or even a blurry cellphone video, and she will buy into it wholeheartedly. She lights candles to keep ghosts out of her house and she burns incense to clear people’s auras. She’s mildly embarrassed by all of this, when she stops to think about it, but not enough not to do it - or to stop from getting intensely freaked out by supernatural shit.

She’s a huge video game addict. It’s hard to tell if she’s good or not, sometimes, because she’s constantly haring off to do things just to see if she can, or because she thinks they’re funny. She’s absolutely terrible at roleplaying games, though, mostly because she invests way too much of herself in her character, and then gets incensed when the plot injures them too much. She wants happy endings, goddamnit.

Sipara will try anything once, even if it’s a little grudgingly. She’s used to eating Pheres’s cooking experiments, it takes a lot to actually gross her out. On her end, though, she’s actually a semi-decent cook, even if her preferred foods tend to be “roasted flower-tops” and “honey with a hint of tea”.
