When I was in the second grade of high school, I was learning how to do the break dance. At that time, I tried to reach anything about HIP-HOP or street culture. One day I was browsing the content of a Japanese street wear magazine called BOON in the bookstore. I found a interesting comics in the middle part of this magazine! It wasn’t like other Japanese comics, the story and the view point was not only very close to the American culture, but also mixed with Japanese culture in some points. Since then, I’ve fall in love with this comics and I tried to follow anything that I could found from bookstore or internet about this artist. Santa Inoue is one of the important influences in my career. Today is his birthday, so wish him has a great one!
