Myeongdong, Cat Cafe, and Changmin
I'm back in Anseong from ten days in Seoul and it's nice to be home for the time being. Today was a relaxing shopping and cafe day. My first stop was in Myeongdong because I was there shopping for K-Pop related goods for myself and others. It was a cat cafe which is essentially a place where you can be surrounded by cats while enjoying a drink. I chose the only one I could find and the fee was ₩8,000 which is was a little expensive but worth it. I had a few cats come up and let me pet them. They all looked happy and one of them escaped during my time there. But the Scottish Fold was my favorite because of its big round paws. I went in happy to be with cats for a bit. Overall, I do recommend this if you are into animal themed cafes. Finally, before I came back to my mountainside school, I stopped by 'The Min's ' in Apujeongrodeo because this little cafe is my favorite. It's small and feels like being home. The drink size is reasonable and the price is perfect. Fun fact: it is owned by 2am's Changmin. So if you are a fan of them, this is a good place to stop. My first visit here I did not get a chance to see him but today I had a feeling I should go to the cafe. And I did; I saw a familiar looking person. It was indeed him but I was so nervous to approach him but his mother pushed me to meet him. Changmin was the first idol I met and he couldn't have been nicer; he even took a picture with me. It seems like he likes talking to fans. His English was good as well. He also attended where I'm an exchange student now. He also performed at the opening ceremony. Apart from meeting him, this is my favorite spot to get a drink because of its atmosphere. My time in Korea is slowly shrinking but am doing so much that it's insane. Next week, I'll be going to Trick Eye Museum and Ihwa Mural Village.
