I don’t have photographic proof bc my face looks like shit, but my family helped give me a haircut yesterday so now I’ve got an undercut and bangs. I may get rid of the bangs.

I was sitting down and listening to surah jumuah, like watching it with the meaning, and it's like rediscovering how much more better and surreal it is to understand what Allah is saying to us, than just listening to it as background music while doing chores just to tick it off the list of things to do on Friday.

I feel like making my dad a deck of cards from shutterfly for Father's Day would not only be a nice gesture but a great way to remind him of his failures :) :)
