Photos of Ringo taken by Richard Avedon on the 29th January 1965, at a photography studio in the penthouse at Thompson House, 200 Gray’s Inn Road, London. One of these Cesar-like photos of Ringo were first published in the Daily Mail on 12th May 1965, under the headline ‘Hail Ringo!’
